ABOUT

My name is Jade Alexander and I have been photographing for only 2 years. As I finished my GCSE’s I never knew what I wanted to do as a career, as I never felt I found a subject that I could excel in. I always knew I was creative but it was finding which part in the creative industry I fitted into. During Art we had a minor photography project, and I found myself completely absorbed in it. I chose to do some research into photography, and this is when I chose to take photography at college. I never even considered University in the past, however during college I took photography seriously and I wanted to extend my knowledge even further and I felt University could do this. University will help me improve my photographic skills and help me become the best I can be.

This is why I have made this blog, so all of you can follow me on my journey throughout University. In which I will share with you my work and lectures. Feel free to comment, whether this is critical or praise, I will take all comments on board to help myself improve.

  1. Jade, I love your work. You have a keen eye for detail and a unique mind. You find beauty in the simple things, and your ability to both ask for and take constructive criticism and use it to your full advantage, to not just better your work, but to make your work better in the long run, is what has me believing that you will become a great photographer, and do amazing things in the future. Keep it up, and keep uploading your awesome pictures, I need more to share with my fellow Canadians and Americans. 🙂
